Mine was sort of a wartime poster "slogan" that became "merched" on mugs, teatowels etc much more recently.

Scurra's is not so much a "common phrase" as a famous line from the end of a poem.

So I guess nobody is going to proceed from Keep Calm and Carry On, nor wanting to expand on Rage, Rage Against the Dying of the Light.
So tough luck, here's a new one:

They certainly do.
I might wonder if the "expression" is fairly common as "There's An Awful Lot..." maybe even more so than Ol' Blue Eyes' song lyric, from which it's probably a misquote. A bit like "Play it again, Sam".

Well if C stood for "headgear with bells on", it might apply to you two both.

I think it must be Uneasy Lies The Head That Wears A Cap 'n' bells

Does Scurra lie anxiously awake at night?
Perhaps understandably, with a giant purple rabbit out to Wriek Rewengay! [/blackadder voice]

Hey, I did years of therapy to stop the giant purple rabbit dreams. Now you've reminded me of them again. Thanks. :)

So we seem to need a new one, as well as a comfy couch for continuing therapy:
