NLYC NNCT MSSN GVWL S/HS FGMS MSHP
In case you couldn't work it out, that says ONLY CONNECT MISSING VOWELS / HOUSE OF GAMES MASHUP
I've been having a look at these on a random Facebook group, and think they are fun. Basically, it's two random categories, mashed together, with the vowels removed. I will give you one of the categories, and the other one you will have to work out for yourself. A few are pinched, shamelessly, from the other page, but each round has a significant number of ones I've come up with.
One of the categories is songs.
1. THPN YWY SP
2. THSR THDSS FRLVS
3. THDN DLNS LPST NGHT
4. GLDL LLVR
5. HNDN FXGLV
6. TRN NGJ PNSY
7. MKNG PLNS FRN GLL
8. DNTL TTHS NFLWRGD WNNM
9. PFFT HMGC SNPD RGN
10. THST LBNV RLST NGLV
Please post answers under spoilers.

Should there be a few more letters in number 8? I can make a song with nothing extra mashed up in it for that one.

#1 solved by LAT:
THE (PEONY) WAY IS UP
And yes, they are all that groan-worthy!

Anyone like to hazard a guess at any of the others?
I have more, when this one is done, if anyone wants them!

I think I have all bar numbers 4 and 10 now.
I hadn't heard of 7 but guessed it - should probably have known it!

For 10 I think maybe Natalie Cole has turned Scottish?
Re: NLYC NNCT MSSN GVWL S/HS FGMS MSHP
For 4 praps Captain Sensible was happy to give Dame Edna some flowers she oft mentioned

Right, I am now understanding this a bit better. I'd been making it harder for myself - or being too pedantic!
Got 10 (didn't know the bit in brackets, just knew it by the first 3 words)
4 I am thinking (Dave Clark 5 but could be missing a Y?) Not sure about SparkOut's clue though so could be wrong.

Well, the random way they are constructed it could have been anything. And as Laura pointed out, I definitely did make (a pretty major) mistake earlier on!

Ah, of course I mistook Dave Clark 5 for Captain Sensible's https://youtu.be/yPfB3eRX130 (some wrong lettering required for that).
Re: NLYC NNCT MSSN GVWL S/HS FGMS MSHP
So did you say you have more ? Or are you hoping the rest of us might have a go at making some up?

I do have more, but I'm waiting for everyone to answer these first!
But also very happy if anyone wants to have a go at making some more too...

I think both LAT and myself have them all.

I've got most of them I think, but this isn't really my specialist subject. (#2 took ages because I couldn't work out where the Y had gone.)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
