Sports Day

OK so my silly son, Dibble, is organising a "sports day" for his girlfriend's family and has asked for some input. Apparently they are organising all kinds of "events" such as

"Going down a slip and slide on an inflatable crocodile, armed with a litter picker, picking up as many potatoes as possible."

After all the games they are having a "Ready-Steady-Cock" which is like Ready Steady Cook only making cocktails using given ingredients.

Anyway, I digress. In order to make the scores more even, they are going to be given "challenges" to do, which is where I come in. They are able to text me and be sent a challenge which they have to complete without anyone noticing. The example he gave was e.g. "Compliment someone on their shins," or "Get the word "spandex" into a sentence."

So, I need some ideas! Anyone got anything?

Wear an item of clothing that belongs to someone else.

How about bringing the name of pop groups into the conversation but not as reference to the group. EG talking about rolling stones down a slope or discussing beetles scuttling for cover

Nod your head when you say "no", and shake your head when you say "yes". (Actually, this is probably too difficult!)

Walk backwards at least 4 metres/10 steps without having to explain why. (Eg leading someone by the hands out into the dance area, or whatever reason makes sense)

I actually think I'm going to use all of these, so thank you all very much. I am adding a few more (I need 9 in total, one which needs to be for an 8 year old!)

So the 8 year old is getting "Hiccup at least 10 times," and my other ideas are :

"Use at least three old-fashioned exclamations, e.g. "codswallop," "poppycock,"Tickety boo" or "spiffing.""

and "Pretend to brush off an insect / beetle / money spider from at least three people."

I have told Dibble that you lot have been so helpful, and have asked for some feedback on how it all goes (the "event is 19th Aug.) He is very chuffed, and said to thank you all very much.

Well, it all seems to be going well so far. "Challenge bot" has been busy this morning! Dibble made me change my WhatsApp picture to a games logo he has made - which seems to be four sisters represented as pilchards swimming in tomato sauce. Of course it was.

... so it all went really well. They all loved the challenges. Apparently one guy (the one who got LAT''s challenge) got close to being caught out, so he employed the tactic of throwing in a lot of red herrings and acting strangely all day. He was apparently tapping people on a specific shoulder, or talking about the Bourne Ultimatum all day.

I don't think Dibble's cocktail went down too well. Apparently he chose basil syrup, lemon, gin and champagne, which looked good but "tasted like when you eat an orange after brushing your teeth!"

Anyway, he said to thank you all for all the great ideas!
