But then the PPE required due to the asbestos renders Jack less nimble and quick, so the chances of achieving the task are greatly reduced. I don't know why it would be good to try it anyway.

I'm pretty sure I will know it after I've been nudged into remembering. The trouble is, there are too many silly alternatives that come to mind first, like Pirates Walking Yellowbeard's Plank.
