Somehow I think that I don't have 14 or 18 quite right

14 She has short cretin devil guarded by two mothers and is told by spaceship computer
18 he is found in quiet borders of Arbroath and Johnstone next to Fred's silo

A lot of this is right, but you need to rethink cretin and told (you need a 7 letter word for the first one and a 6 letter word for the second)
18 he is found in quiet borders of Arbroath and Johnstone next to Fred's silo

All correct apart from Fred's silo. Think film character for that bit.

For 14 I thought TAS (or TAZ) for short cartoon devil. And tailed by HAL. But I was trying to come up with answer of 6,5 not 7,6.

Yes TAZ is right, as is HAL. And it is 6,5

Yes, that is the right answer, and all of your clue is right. Being you have OLEON left over and you have a penny changing to a pound (L) - can you now see what CNM might be now?

Right, I think I have them all now but haven't quite worked out the end of clues 3 and 18

3 I have ... not that nice for her
18 I haven't worked out what Fred's Silo should be

But I am fairly confident I have all the correct answers. :D

And there I was thinking there might be a way FioRDS oSLo hinted at A-HA to stuff between J and N (borders of JohnstoN - although it clearly ends in E,)

Re 18 I am now slightly confused as I had also thought I had JN from Johnston and needed AHA to go inside. Although I hadn't got as far as SparkOut!

Oops, that one doesn't work as it should due to me being a numpty and making a spelling mistake (I thought it was JEhan)

So thank you for believing you could make my clue work! 🤣 Sorry about that!
