I'm afraid you'll have to include me out.

Being the owner - at present as it is up for sale - of a touring caravan and just having spent a week in a 'commercial' van on a site in North wales - I am up for caravanning. Is that still the prefered accomadation? I would stay for longer than the 2/3 days suggested as my only experience of Reading is burning out a clutch just short of there and being given a police escort for me and caravan to a garage who would do the repair in an afternoon. I found out when I got the bill that his mechanics were on the sort of money that Fred Goodwin can only dream about! So I would like some time to look around and maybe see if I know any of the boaters on the River. (Met some people from Huddersfield I knew on their boat whilst waiting for my clutch repair)

Nice idea - There's a splendid caravan park here too (Devon Cliffs) at Sandy Bay....and glorious surroundings.....but a bit remote for most. However, if anyone was thinking of heading South-West for a holiday, you could always drop by here and try the fantastic miles of beach at Exmouth 8-) 8-) 8-) It's a nice place, less commercialised than most resorts.

You have no idea how true that is. Last night I dreamed I had to cook sphagetti bolognese for Scurra because he said otherwise I'd get banned from the site. When I tried to assemble it on the plate the food kept slipping off onto the kitchen floor and landing in a heap. Make what you will of that! :? There weren't any naked cauliflowers present though, that'll be tonight's dream I expect.

Well, it's the nice, white inside of a cauliflower that everyone likes ;)

(Sadly, I think a cauliflower looks significantly better naked than I do  )

You know, just a suggestion for you, but I'm going away with some of my girl friends for a weekend in a couple of weeks' time. We found that hiring a cheap holiday cottage works out much more economically than going for hotels. The one we found is costing us £40 each for both Saturday and Sunday night - there are 5 of us. Then you have somewhere to veg out when you're tired after a long day too!
