Easy az...
Easy az...
I was walking through the capital with a friend of mine, as we were passing spitalfields market, we were animatedly talking about the Novello awards.
"I don't know how you managed to score tickets for the awards ceremony! That's big up Respect, Adam!" I exclaimed.
"I know! It was pure fluke, I was in the bookies and a toff punter had a big win on the Horses, and he just started giving stuff out like he was some kind of celebrity."
"Yeah, we'll be hobnobbing with the real celebs soon - hey what? I didn't mean *that* soon - isn't that Mo farah over there?"
Sure enough, we spotted the famous athlete chewing on a Mutton sandwich. "So he's not vegan after all then?" I asked.
"No, just that as a muslim he needs meat to be properly prepared."
"Still, it doesn't seem to be to his taste," I remarked, as the gold medallist made a face and dropped the remains of the sandwich into a handy composting bin by The Garden Wall, leaving at a pace we could not match.
"So how much did that punter win then?" I asked, curiously.
"Not sure of the total winnings, but it was a big lot. The amazing thing is, he only staked A Bob, but it was a massive accumulator so he came out with something astronomic, like in the millions."
"So was he someone famous himself, this toff?" I asked. "Are we going to see him at the awards if he had spare tickets to give away?"
"Not sure who he was, but I'd really like to say thank you properly, while we're there enjoying the food and drink and atmosphere."
"Yes!" I laughed, "it's surely going to be better than a Mutton sandwich!"
Just then I tripped, and my friend tried to catch me before faceplanting into a road sign on a lamp post. Unfortunately Adam was only partially successful, as my head clanged into the sign, seeing stars for a moment. Neither was my shoe saved, where the cracked paving slab had gouged a deep scratch into the Leather.
"Ack" I spluttered unintelligibly before pulling myself together. "That's a pain, these are my best calf Leather pair," I moaned.
"Wow, you're such a fashionista, aren't You?" he laughed. "At least they're not your alligator pair."
Slightly more cautiously, we continued, with my ears still ringing.

I'm not ignoring this, just don't know what to do!

Ask for a clue?
As a steganographic passage, the surface reading might be a bit contrived but should flow reasonably. Anything else about this passage that looks worthy of notice?

Re: Easy az...
Well, I had wondered about the title (as in, assuming it might be something to do with an alphabet?) And there are some random capital letters. But other than that, no, sorry!

A big yes to your first thought.
For the second the capitalisation is definitely not typical, but absolutely not random.

I can see most of it I think, but still working through the list I had from when I did something like this one very early on in PB.

(Novello and Mo were the ones I picked up on immediately.)

Think about where the conversation is happening?

I did think about shoehorning a little segment into the passage about one of us coming on the tube from Clapham and the other on the bus from Dwyer road.
^ this is not at all to do with the "where this is happening" Scurra mentions above - don't get confused. (This refers to where we've come from.)
And it's probably not at all helpful, but after you've got the solve, you might possibly see the point of having mentioned. (Whereas Scurra's comment is actually relevant.)
