Good work!
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Doing crosswords is a great way to learn new words. Today's favourite was KAKISTOCRACY. I can definitely think of some uses for that one! 😉

Travelling back from South Uist.
Monday was grim on the way out, but yesterday the sun came out.
Here's the view from the hotel looking across to Barra airport. (Yes, the beach.)

Watched an old episode of Midsomer Murders last night and noticed that one of the policemen's car numberplate ended AHA. Made me smile!

This one we spotted on the motorway some time ago made us chuckle!

...Not that I especially want to be thinking about heat right now- last night it was still 29 degrees C in my living room at midnight!

How is everyone else doing?

Oh that's great!

I'm slowly melting here. Like our chocolate bars!

I was at Wimbledon on Tuesday. We counted the minutes to when the sun finally went low enough to leave us in the shade. But the tennis was good. How they did it in that heat!

The sun came out on Wednesday afternoon this week.
I wondered if nuclear war had broken out because the sky was hot and glowing.
Apart from that...

I am currently dreaming of weather like that! Sleeping with three ice packs, a wet tea towel and a fan and still sweating is NOT fun.

That's lovely!
P.S. D has been banished to the living room. It's honestly the only time I have ever told him he is "too hot!"
