It will probably take me until December even to start looking at one, so I think you're all way ahead.

I realise it's not actually May yet, but I am going away with the "girls" (now all 65!) on Friday so thought I would post this up while I'm thinking of it.

Sorry about the flag pics, which I realise aren't great; if you are struggling to identify them give me a shout. In particular, the 5th one down on the left is actually green, white and ORANGE (not red.)

The puzzle title is SMILE. I just need you to tell me what's missing?

This looks like fun. Confused by top one. Is the outline of the blue cross meant to be white or yellow as it appears to be?

I think it's yellow, and think it's meant to be

Hmm, pretty sure I have identified all the flags now with two options for the top one.
As for the next stage............ :?

I am pretty sure that once you spot one of the things on the word search (I am absolutely certain you will recognise at least a long diagonal one!) you will realise what you are looking for.

Also, don't forget to take the title into account! ;)

Would you like a starting point? Here are some hints.

1. The things you are looking for in the grid can be found specifically in the countries indicated by the flags.

2. A lot will be unfamiliar words, so you will almost certainly need to find some relevant pages online to help.

3. The title is Smile. How might I make you do that?

4. STARTING POINT ON GRID TO GET YOU GOING IF STUCK: Read diagonally upwards to the north east from an S.

If anyone is struggling with a little "gem" they have found, it is a bit tricky to find as it is hidden in a sub link category. It does connect with the nickname of that country! ;)

My tester found it easier to look up the possibilities for each first and then locate them.

yes, I've been doing that. I have also googled some random possible words I have found to see if they fit the criteria! I've found 2 or 3 that way.

Just have 4 to find now.
