Did they supply clothes pegs?

Off again this weekend with the hippo! Seems to be slightly smaller than last time. I must have grown.

either that or the hippo has shrunk in the rain.

Best of luck Kingsley, hope it all goes well. And that the hippo continues to lose weight.

She's just set off. (Torrential rain, but looks like it won't last long)

Oh, there's nothing quite like bog stomping. That's what I did mostly last year in the Lake District. I expect I'll be doing the same in August in Dorset knowing my luck. (So I might be round for that cup of tea yet, Cenwulf! )

Huge and irritating. THey're right on the bottom of my heels so it's impossible to walk. :(

She didn't say she had blisters! But she is walking a bit strangely  Seems to have caught the sun on her face too.

I once got huge blisters like that as a teenager after an over-enthusiastic walking weekend and caused huge amusement at school by turning up the next day in my pretty bedroom slippers which were the only things I could bear to have on my feet!

I'd love to be able to go to school in my slippers(I've got some of those lovely big fluffy boots that make you look like one of those hairy things off Starwars). Well, and my pjs if I could. Don't suppose they'd like that much though.

I once had a boyfriend who often used to drive round to visit me in his slippers. He liked them because they were comfortable. It amused my mother!

I hate those really deep blisters under the heels. They seem to improve after a few days and then a couple of months later a thick layer of skin peels off - yeuch!
There's no point in having a last minute if you don't use it!

When we went to visit my son last in Cornwall, the lady in the bed and breakfast said she'd cook him breakfast. He was staying about 50 yards across the main road. He turned up in his slippers at her front door! Mind you he is odd. He is generally to be found still wearing shorts in late November. My best friend has been known to deliver her kids to school wearing a wynciette nightie and a pair of joggers. Stylish. I'd love to hear what that awful pair Trinny and Suzanna would say about them.

Hope the blisters clear up soon!!
