Apparently this even needs to be extended to purple rabbits...Scurra wrote:Congratulations from me to all of the Bunny clan.

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Thank you for all your good wishes.
At risk of sounding negative, MBH, it was all a big waste of time knowledge- wise ( I didn't learn anything I didn't know already) and it was a huge committment from me time wise (at least 100 hours + of my own time, unpaid, I might add). The only good thing is that I've earned myself loads of brownie points and will actually go up a pay scale. Which is very welcome at the moment!

The very reason why I'll probably never teach (evening classes) again - I don't have the time to waste.Bunnylump wrote:it was all a big waste of time knowledge- wise ( I didn't learn anything I didn't know already) and it was a huge committment from me time wise
Still - I'm glad you've done it, and you can hit anyone over the head with it that needs to be convinced by PAPER of how good you are

Poor you, Strep! Make sure you have at least one day to yourself, won't you? The freezer will still be there next week...

Freezer done, oven all lathered up. Going out with my best friend for the day on Friday. I usually have 1st week in June off and the weather is awful this year I took the 2nd and last weeks weather was lovely. I think it's a conspiracy.Bunnylump wrote:Poor you, Strep! Oh that's not fair. I've got to take 60 year 7s to St Albans cathedral tomorrow, then take them round the town doing traffic surveys and round the Roman ruins across the park, HAVE LUNCH in the park, and all in the predicted torrential rain. Fun.

Oh, Kathlyn, I am sorry to hear that things have obviously got worse. You've been through the mill lately, haven't you? My thoughts are with you and I hope your Dad improves soon. Take care.

Thinking of you Kathlyn - be careful yourself while you're dashing around.

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
The last couple of days I've bin.... riding all round the whole Circle Line and rediscovering an (almost lost ) affection for the London Underground system.... - having just solved Aldgate before setting out! ...And of course, the long train journey up to London gave me the chance to look more closely at some of the other puzzles, too, which had been put on one side for a while.....
Having a meeting in London involved (1) arriving in Paddington and riding round to Westminster for the meeting (2) getting back on at Westminster and riding on round to Kings Cross - and stopping off there to go up to Highbury to pay a visit to Scurra's cat, in case she was feeling bereft of care and attention (3) back to the Circle Line next day to complete the trip back to Paddington.
I wouldn't have been able to do it today as they are all on strike! Maybe Scurra should send them a copy of Puzzlebrains to do while on the picket line?
