I had been wondering where Katsmom had disappeared to, but now we know she's safe.
But has anyone heard from Redfraggle lately? How about Brian? Are they ok?
If you look in, please leave a message, so that we know you are alright.

It's nice to know we are missed
That's what I love about this place. It's just one big happy family.
Too bad time is so short and tight. It's way past bedtime for me. I never realized what work I had to do when I started this thing. Oh well, it's been fun!
I hope everyone else is ok!

Tell me about it

Yes, I was wondering about Redfraggle and Evilkeen too.
I have had an e mail from Brian though. I'm sure he won't mind me telling you this -apparently Ann has had another fall and has broken her other leg. So she's in hospital for a few weeks. Brian is to-ing and fro-ing to Preston hospital up and down the motorway, and he sounds fairly fraught. If anyone would like to send Ann a get well message,(or Brian a "chin up" message!!) post it on here and I'll copy it and e mail it to him. I believe he has been printing them out and taking them in to her to cheer her up. Poor Ann has had to be fitted into a cancer ward because they ran out of space in the proper ward. As Brian put in (in inimitable Brian stylee) "and they're a cheery lot as you can imagine"!!

I'm not sure how long she will be in, but I do know that it's likely to be longer than she originally hoped. I'll pass on your good wishes.

It's a while since I've heard from our Fraggley Friend, but last time we texted she was fine.
Sorry to hear about Ann - I was convinced she had sneaked back on here as Ann-Agram

Hoping that she gets well soon and Brian takes care of
himself as well as her.

It seems that they have found a blood clot on Ann's leg. Good job they found it because they can now sort it out. Looks like she might be in for a while though...
Anyway, I have passed on your good wishes.

Sorry you've been sick fraggly friend. Hope it was only a teeny bit. Great news that your street is turning into Fraggle Road. You'll be able to keep a close eye on your lovely granddaughter. Any more piccies to share?

Message from Brian.
Ann has now had various XRays and Scans – including a heart one - and they have decided that she no longer has a blood clot – whether there never was one or it has broken up no one seems to know!
She has – tonight – been moved back into the Orthopaedic ward and is on a course of antibiotics to control any possible infection from the surgery. (Stitches taken out today)
She hopes to be out for Tuesday.
We have had an invitation to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party at the end of July (name dropping!) and I will probably have to get hold of a wheel chair for her.
I don't know. Hobnobbing...

Good to hear that Ann is on the mend

and with something to look forward to.
It's a pity it isn't a fancy dress garden party - years ago when my wife was stuck in a wheelchair for a while we went on a fancy dress parade through the centre of Newcastle. I borrowed a load of wet weather gear from a keen fisherman and we did my wife up as a mermaid (with a very attractive tail) to be pushed around in the chair
Probably not politically correct for your occasion, but one thought springs to mind:
