Just to let you know I've had a message from Redfraggle and she is still planning to join us for the meet.

Actually Fraggle and Ivan are planning on joining me the week before so expect one very tired Gill. :D

Fraggle likes to confuse us. It's her own form of a puzzle. I couldn't work out how she was leaving on Saturday but not getting to me until Sunday. I still haven't quite worked out where she is going to land or when.

Fraggle, more info please!!!! No problems- but on a need to know basis I need to know :D

Well it is on the river. In fact we had thought of some type of boat trip for part of the entertainment. But it was proving a bit difficult for various reasons.

Thanks to everyone who sent good wishes - some were via email as well as by the Forum.
Not really got time to look in very often - I drive to Preston for the afternoon visiting, get thrown out at 4.00, hang around like a spare part till 6.00 then back in for the evening visit, then back down the M61 home - approximately 7 hours each day! She hopes to be out today or tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath. Then in the spare hours I have worked out how the washing machine works, but the house is a complete shambles, housework was never my forte.

Glad to hear the Fraggles extended family is forming their own enclave -- gates at the end of the road J?

Not sure about August - have to see how madam feels once I get her home and cooking/cleaning/shopping/darning and generally looking after me properly!
One good thing is she hasn't been able to have a fag or a drink since the accident so maybe - just maybe she might give up the fags finally.

Glad to hear from you Brian. Keep plying her with drink and she might forget about the ciggies! (and not notice the state the house is in).

Good to hear from you Brian. I take it you've had plenty of time to puzzle while 'hanging around like a spare part'
I'd offer to help with the housework (being not that far away), but I don't have time to do my own housework at the moment (not that I ever did it, when I did!)
Fingers crossed for the stopping smoking, so there's something good to come out of all this. Glad to hear she should be home soon.

Fingers crossed that she's home soon, Brian. But for goodness sake, get that house sorted, otherwise she might organise a relapse when she sees it!!

("Working the washing machine" tsk tsk. My OH tried that one. " I couldn't work out how to use the washing machine" when I was in hospital for a month. :o Until I pointed out that he is an engineer, and that he was utterly pathetic. As a special award, I now get him to wash his work clothes himself!! So Brian, be warned! )
