So what's going on? I've only just been allowed in so I have a lot of catching up to do.

I had to ask Scurra to let me in, which he did very quickly. He thought everyone was in because some people had started posting on the forum.

Because I couldn't see the forum I didn't know that others were in
I was being patient after Scurra's post that there were problems

Me too, until I told him I'd found an error and he told me it was already up on the forum!

I'm still waiting for my password. I've finished about half the puzzles, and done parts of others. I have several possible final answers, but so far I've been unable to check them.

I mean final answers as in Final Answers For The Puzzles (e.g the unclued word in The Magician). Not the Final Final Answer For The Whole Of The Puzzle Book. I haven't finished some of the puzzles yet - and some I haven't even started.
I've got Le Bateleur, La Papesse, L'Imperatrice, Le Pape, La Force, L'Hermite, La Morte, Le Diable, Le Soleil and Le Jugement to check. I've also solved Roi des Coupes and L'Empereur but I haven't got the final answer yet.

It's ok - he's obviously just inspired by all those foreign words in "Strength"
However, I am intrigued by "La Papesse" ! I looked it up and apparently the High Priestess was known at one time as the "Popess" and wore a triple papal crown :o

Popess. I like that.

I've used the titles from the Tarot de Marseille instead. In this deck, Justice is VIII and Strength is XI. Apparently Waite switched them over when he designed his deck. So if you look at a Tarot pack, you can tell if it's inspired by Waite or not by looking at Stength and Justice.

I was so angry when I got home tonight. All that was in my post box was an advert from pizza hut!

But when I got upstairs there was a box of books for me and the postman decided to drop off PuzzleBrains at the same time  It looks lovely as always!
