That sounds horrible :( Soft tissue damage is so hard to heal [and NO, even I wouldn't go into a 'heel' pun under this conditions]

Take care in the meantime, and I hope his computer gets shifted so that we can keep them all comopany.

Do we 'know' Fiona? Not sure if she's cropped up in conversation. She paints a wonderful picture with the zimmer frame races  Nice to meet you, and all our best wishes for looking after our elder statesman (and Ann). :)

Ouch... But I agree with MBH - the mental picture Fiona then conjures up is hilarious...
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Get well wishes to the Snails...... life must feel a bit snail-like at the moment :(
Hope things improve soon.

All systems go again.

Stuart (Fiona's OH) has moved my PC and all the gubbins into the dining room so I can actually get on to the magic machine again.
Ann is progressing rapidly - getting too cocky for her own good at the moment. I have been to see the specialist today and after a lot of pushing and prodding with me cursing at the appropriate place, he has decided that I shall have a new plaster, but at least it is one I can put weight on so that I am not dancing round with one foot in the air. Unfortunately it means I have wear this one for four weeks then they alter the angle of my foot and then give me another four weeks plastered at the new angle. So all thoughts of going anywhere are completely kiboshed! I can't drive for eight weeks and Ann can't for about 12. Grandaughter is coming round tomorrow to drive Ann to the Opticians.

Many thanks for all the good wishes from everyone - daughter says "Aren't they all a friendly bunch!"

Sorry we are going to miss the meet -- hope the weather is super for you all.

That's such a shame Brian, it won't be the same without you. I do hope you both recover properly as soon as reasonably possible. We'll have to have another meet afterwards to celebrate.
