Yes, in fact he featured in picture form and in a clue*!! (Don't worry Brian, you'll get to see these eventually).

*In fact, quite a lot of people did...they just don't know it yet.

Actually I wasn't including your fantastic puzzles Bunny (since I've only done ONE of them) - you missed out on a quiz (at the end of the evening) that could only be answered by members of THIS forum.

Thinking about it YOU showed up quite significantly in THAT quiz

Well I'm hoping it wasn't anything too derogatory or shameful. Coming to think of it if it was I only have my self to blame for telling you lot my innermost secrets. Oh hang on, I don't have any secrets!!

  Yes, it must have been fairly surreal. Mind you, no more surreal than when I popped in to see my sister in law this afternoon, and her guinea pig (Malcolm) was sitting in the garden in an inflatable boat with cushions in it.

Why does my McAfee show a RED (means approach with caution) symbol about this site???

Can it be that someone in their organisation has actually been reading some of these posts?

ect is a very common misspelling, but I can never see why. You don't say ec-tetera, you say et-cetera. If something is said differently then I see where the difficulty arises. (Not having a go at clvrlad, but as the subject was raised....)

Except that a lot of people pronounce it excetera. In which case they would probably presume that its 'ect' and not 'etc'.

Again, its the correct pronunciation thats needed to get the spelling right.

I was having a dig at McAfee, not clvrlad's spelling. It works just as well as if I'd said "etc is one of your spellings for "badly" is it?"

Sorry, Sparkout I didn't mean to imply you were having a dig, just trying to point out that I wasn't having a dig. clvrlad's spelling isn't something he can help and probably half of it is typos anyway. I have to retype most of my posts just because I always miss shift and hit Caps lock, and mis-hit quite a few others too. (Just edited that last bit forinstance because it looked rude without the hyphen  )
