Yes that's what I was trying to explain and stop people panicking and jealously believing that you only had four puzzles left to do.

Brilliant.
Perhaps you should make a giraffe cake as your contribution to the 1 000 000 giraffes. :D

Thank you. The basic outline was traced off a book of music, with minor alterations to change it from alto sax to tenor! Kingsley is pleased with it, so that is what counts.

Bunnylump, Fernando has told me I should post you a cake. :? I asked what I should put it in to post it and he said "A jar". It might be a pile of crumbs only fit to be put in a jar by the time it got there, but he assures me that I could mark it "This way up"

I've never done a giraffe, but I've done bears , lions, white tigers, and Peter Rabbit, who ended up looking a bit like the playboy rabbit and I had terrible trouble dying the icing a rabbbity shade of light brown

 I'l look forward to my pile of crumbs then!! :D

My OH took pity on me today (not had a great day) and decided to cook the tea. :o Which was a lovely gesture, apart from the fact that he cooked: vgetarian mince, with peppers, mushrooms, and leek (all fine) but then tried to flavour it with...wait for it...Vermouth and a whole jar of red onion marmalade. :? It was, um... different.

The big question is would you recommend others to try it? :D

I thought my son had really lost the plot when he told me to cook gammon in coca cola. Delicious. Leave the remaining juices until next day and you have a brilliant base for a chinese sauce.

To be honest I don't know I would recommend Donald's concoction. And my son's girlfriend ( who was eating with us) tried so valiantly to finish her plateful. I could just see the poor thing was struggling!! I wouldn't dare tell him though. He would never cook again.

I'm impressed he does cook though. I don't think Nigel has cooked a meal for me since we married.

:o :o :o :o

That is shameful. I would MAKE him cook!!

Even my son cooks sometimes!! (He actually isn't a bad cook).

He does make me cups of tea occasionally. And pours the wine too.

... getting Jennie's hair cut.

She'd be posting this herself, but she's in a huff - she doesn't like Tom coming round and giving her her quarterly cut :( She's convinced we're trying to kill her - and Tom is so good and careful with her. [We think she had a bad experience in her younger days, but we could never identify a company that were using then]

Anyway - here's a before and after shot.

She does look a bit peeved though! :D

Want to swap her for a kitten or two? ;)

In fact if I could swap husbands with Bunnylump, sons with Sparkout and pets with MBH my life might be a lot easier.
