Hi all
Jo has been e-mailing cos she's broke her ankle and is struggling to get access to the forum. But if any of you want her e-mail address you can PM me and I will pass it on. She can access her e-mail through her phone.
She's missing the forum and reckon's she's out in sympathy with Brian and Ann!

Oh poor Jo! She's been in the wars lately. How on earth did she manage to break her ankle? Pass on our love.

broken ankles - not fun - 6 weeks with a plaster on - DO NOT use a knitting needle when the itch starts. Take care and keep your feet up.

Please tell Jo I hope she gets back on here again soon. Think I'd go mad without access to forums!

Ouch, Ouch, Ouch! That doesn't sound like fun
Take care of yourself, and build up to the 'races' slowly - remember Anne and Brian have you beat hands-down on 'experience'

Does that chair look suspiciously like the kiddie seat in a shopping trolley with the grille taken off then end?

A quick word of advice to JO, If you have to go to the supermarket borrow one of their electric powered go carts, they are great fun and you can go where you want and not be dependent on someone pushing.
I find the worst part is not being able to drive. I was in a plaster cast for 8 weeks (they replaced it after 4 weeks) and now I have had a strange plastic boot which I will have for the next six weeks. With second cast I was able to drive -- think the insurance company might have thrown a wobbly if they knew, but this boot is just too big for the pedals.
Ann and I are both off the zimmer frames, Ann has a stick but I prefer to use one crutch whilst out as it created loads of sympathy from most young ladies. (Might be old and crippled, but not past everything yet!)
Hope it soon gets better Jo, then you can have a bath with BOTH legs in the water!!!
