easiest way if youve a pc
open with paint (you get it with windows normally)
at the top click image
click resize
then alter the width and height to the percentage you want
but put the same number in width and height so your not stretching the image
then save the file possibly with a new name so you dont over right the original

to see how big the picture is you can click image the attributes and click on the bit that says inches/cm what ever you prefer to measure in this will tell you about how big it will be on screen id suggest making images about 10-15cm or 4-6 inches along the biggest dimension

what I did with my latest lot was upload them to Imageshack and chose the option to resize for forums when uploading, so it did it for me! must admit I wasn't expecting it to work, but it seemed to.

I couldn't open the link to your last lot of photos Eirian. (The ones on here were lovely though)

tricia: After you used paint did you save it? And then attached the saved version, I think that's what i do.

Wow they're impressive. And I thought that mum's sports car that she made in cornwall was impressive but it is nothing compared to that!!!

Nahhhh - you just get a plastic mold (Is that really the right spelling??)... fill it with sand... turn it over and tap carefully.

Sorry??? It was HOW BIG? :o

Wonderful photo - I've never seen this done 'for real', but they are true artists who create them :D

Interesting. But then I've seen a lot of these - there's a resident sand sculptor here. His current sculpture is 'The Wizard Of Oz', based on a still from the film of the four characters heading down the Yellow Brick Road.
His website is http://www.sculpturesinsand.com so look there for more details.
