Halloween web puzzle

A fellow puzzler put this up on the web. I thought I would share it here. If anyone finishes it, could you let me know. I'm a bit stuck part way through :lol:

My first attempt at getting past the first page --- "You Rang?" --- got me nowhere, but since I'm at work i shouldn't be looking at this now :D

Yes Giraffe. if you think the word is hello, then put that in place of index. That took me ages to work out. :oops:

This is really intriguing..... I've got the first few, but am currently stuck on the book title.... will have to try again later!
