It is quite a good game, but it is amazing how blank your mind goes under pressure. :?

It doesn't take just pressure for me to have a blank mind. That is a permanent state for me

This one won't take up much of your time.
But it's rather pretty, and given that we have been talking about the Night Sky (well, in amongst recipes for rabbit stew, anyway)...

Have you tried trapping it in a central area and then filling in all the circles around the outside and then in towards it? Just watch it leap around in desperation...... :o

Loved the starry puzzle too - very relaxing :D

I cornered the cat on about the 5th attempt. Liked the stars too.

I did the cat one second attempt!

Loved the star one as well. Very clever.

Here's another one of those Dismantling games.

Is it just me -I can't make either of these dismantling games work. I don't understand how to use the "screwdriver" which doesn't appear to be there!!

Just click on the cross-heads that are in various places and that will automatically undo the "screw".

So, for example, on the mouse one there is a brown button that says "back" which, if you click it, will take you to the back of the mouse (and will return you to the "front" when it says "front".)

On the back of the mouse you will see four cross-head screws. Click on each of them to remove them and then you can take the back off and get inside.

Sometimes you have to hunt around to work out where the next revealed screw has been hidden, but it's usually fairly logical to work out.

This is NOT a game, but is nevertheless fairly interesting reading. (Brian sent me the link).

Having my son home for Christmas has made me realise I probably should have been removed from the gene pool!!

I managed to persuade Kingsley to spend seven and a half minutes tidying her bedroom today. (I didn't think 5 mins would make any noticeable difference , but thought asking for 10 mins might cause a riot)

I 've been asking my son to put his stuff from his suitcase (which is all over his bedroom floor, so much so that I can't physically get to the airing cupboard) ever since he came back on 18th December. It's still there.

These are announced each year by chain email, and there was a suspicion that it's the same group of 'stories' each year. This looks a lot more believable and genuine.

I hope the subject of this:

http://darwinawards.com/darwin/darwin2002-27.html

wasn't a potential PB member  I don't want to be involved in any life or death puzzle arena where Scurra is setting the cryptics
