Sparkout - I hope she is feeling better now. - Only just saw this thread - too many hospitals lately I think. Hope you are coping alright. Sometimes it is more stressful once you are over the inital shock.

When my son was in last week - I was fine but now he seems absolutely fine I think you then start thinking about the whole thing. Haven't explained that v well but hopefully you know what I mean.

Your son sounds really nice.

Mum is home and lots "better" but still with neck pain. She's got an appointment on Monday for assesment and probable referal for physio/whatever.

It is as you say, often that when the urgency of the immediate situation has passed that the "nasty thoughts" get free rein. One thing that has really upset her is that the other people have lied and said "she reversed into them" which is absolutely false, but since there are no independent witnesses the insurers don't want to know, and won't pursue a claim. Not that she's after anything mercenary, but she feels very upset that they seem to be implying that she is a liar too (of course that's not the legal interpretation, but she can't help feeling that's what they are saying).

Monkey is a great boy, we went at the weekend for his replacement lesson and he enjoyed it a lot.
