Oh wow. They're ...um [searches for appropriate word] terrific. In all senses.

Well done, Biscuit.

No! They certainly don't make convincing 'alien ears'.

(Where else would they go? )

Well Done to Biscuit for good results from all your hard work :)

...taking my Mother to be assessed for a wheelchair at the wheelchair service in Harperbury. Very helpfully (bearing in mind their sole purpose is to assess people to see if they need wheelchairs) they had TWO disabled parking spaces. :| Still, she's got one now. Worth knowing - for all those with elderly relatives - you DON'T need to buy a wheelchair - you can get a perfectly good nearly new one if you get their GP to refer them for a FREE indefinite loan, with a FREE repair service. :D

And now I've spent the rest of the day making my New Year game. I now have guess the intro link game - e.g. She Drives me Crazy + Little Drummer Boy + Love Train + Wild Thing = Crazy Little Thing Called Love. There will be extra points for singing and dancing. :D I have a feeling lots of alcohol may be necessary. ;) Then there's a film clip round (audio recordings of famous quotes from films and a mystery missing film). Next I'm doing a "match the product to the ad music" round with bonus chocolate!! :D I'm quite pleased with it so far. :D Takes ages though. Still, the good news is that it'll keep me out of trouble at a new year party, which must be a good thing.

We had a sprinkle of snow this afternoon, but I think we are too far West for much. My husband is allegedly getting his new company car tomorrow (long story, but we will believe it when we see it), so he is hoping that we avoid the worst of it as he doesn't fancy driving it for the first time in snow. I've already been told that we are going to the office party tomorrow night in mine, as he doesn't want me to drive it for the first time in the early hours on icy roads!

Only a sprinkling here at the moment...

Hope it stays that way, as I have to drive to Suffolk then on to Stansted to pick up a school trip by minibus tomorrow!
