........ putting together my Christmas present - a new cabinet to house a record player and LPs to replace the redundant unit that used to house record player, cassette player and tuner which was nearly 30 years old.
And the ironing board came out again after it's Christmas holiday when it actually got put away for a few days.

My life is so exciting. :D

It's been snowing up here all last night and off and on today. Actual 10-inch layer of snow all over everything. Looks lovely but.....

Not sure what I've been doing today - it seems to have vanished :(

It sounds good! :D I would love a record player LAT! I have hundreds of LPs and singles I can't play.

Not done any ironing since Christmas Eve! :D

Loving the thought of you two CATS chatting with each other

I've not got an ipod or see a need for one (for ME). I love music, but never listen to any. Odd :?

I know this is not relevant to today I've mostly bin or anything else for that matter, but I meant to say, my son was doing random googling, and found a site which simply said:

"You have reached the end of the internet. Please switch off the computer and go outside into the fresh air."

Sorry, have to go. My older cat is quite ill at the moment.

:( Oh, how sad. Has the vet given you any tips for how to cope best with that?

She is 15. She has to go back in a couple of weeks to see if she needs any tests.

our cat was a ginger tom and lived to a right old age (21) but did show signs of depression and seemed to have almost lost the will to live - not going out, not eating and wailing(this was several years after his brother had passed on), The children sweet talked my oh into getting a kitten which I thought would be a big mistake but we did it anyway. Thats when we got Biscuit and she used to lead Pebbles a merry dance (jumping at him from around corners and competing for his food) However I noticed that although this seemed to annoy Pebbles it actually made him perk up and became more active.

In case it helps the things that Pebbles seemed to like were lots of grooming (esp as he was too old to wash himself properly), staying in the kitchen which is always warm and everything in the same place. It was terrible if we left doors open as I am pretty sure he was blind as well.

Hope this helps and good luck with the tests

Biscuit

Listening to some music written by by very strange brother* (who appears to have called himself "Horace Bismire".) :? Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
