Received my copy this morning. Many thanks for it and message. I have now to decide whether to bake with my grandson or sit him in front of DVD and start puzzles. Difficult decision but I'm afraid the baking will have to win.

Thank you :D

It arrived this morning, just as I was about to try to make some progress on making curtains for the dining room. So I have been very good and ignored it until now. (horrible bit coming up on the curtains!)

So now I'm going to curl up in an armchair and have some fun with it. :D

Just received my copy as well - and thank you Gill and Scurra for your best wishes :D :D

The magazine looks fantastic - and obviously a lot of hard work has gone into it - so well done.

But where to start ....... :?

My copy has arrived! Wow, it looks great! The cover makes a big difference, and Puzzlebains is clearly going to stand out as a super-quality production.

I promised myself I wouldn't look while I've got so much "real world" stuff interfering with my "virtual life" but I just had to scan through. Not got into any yet, I've managed to restrain myself, but it looks absolutely fascinating.

Thanks for the personal message too.

Thank you for the magazine! I'm slightly annoyed that my name on the envelope was spelt 'kinglsley' but I'm sure it was just a typo. The magazine looks great though.

As giraffe said, I have been making some progress. I managed to work out what to do with one of the puzzles and have started it!

Your name will be correct from now on. :D Anybody else who spots a typo in the name or address please let me know. My labels are self generating so if its wrong this time it will be wrong forever

WOOO! Got mine too! Thanks very much both! It's probably a good job it didn't come before Christmas, because otherwise there would have been no turkey going on here!!

I've made a very slight start. And then stopped again!

I'm assuming the fishes are a secret coded early birthday wish for you and me bunny. So it says "Happy Birthday Bunny and Hot Cherub" am I right :?: :?:

Mine arrived today - exciting! Time for a fresh start with this one, as I didn't get very far with issue one, having largely run out of time! I think the hints in the back are a good idea ...

Well I've only decoded one so far, and that has certainly got me shooting in the right direction (as it were) ;)

I've just tried to draw what now amounts to a lot of squiggly lines, but was once upon a time inteded to be a sort of family tree. I've jsut realised that I have no idea what the purpose of this would be, even if I do get all the correct people related to everyone else.

Right, I've made a start, and think I've done the first puzzle. A very strange answer, however!! All other puzzles (with the possible exception of one), I seem to make a start and then think -"well what the flip am I supposed to do now???"

As for the fish, I can only assume that the hot cherub is correct, that Scurra just made it as a sort of homage to us.

Well I just assumed they were a pretty picture for the middle of the mag.

We aren't really meant to get something out of them are we?

And I decoded one of the clues and am none the wiser as the two answers I do have don't seem to fit at all with what the clue says. :(

Oh well, back to work tomorrow, at least I do understand what I have to do there. :)
