He's just another guilty secret. Like the bridge fetish.

Let's be honest, he's not your traditional looker, is he?

There's just something squidgy and twinkly about him that I quite like. I bet no one else can come up with anyone uglier that they think is attractive in a weird sort of way!!

Well I don't think he's ugly, but my friend does, I think he's utterly gorgeous - but I have a crush on Paul Kaye (of Dennis Pennis fame).
By the way this thread is totally off topic - we need to start a new one girls, 'Ugly Gorgeous Men'.

I have a little problem (probably caused by losing my PB magazine and not being careful with the laptop whilst going frantic) The thing that is usually at the bottom of the screen with the windows logo and the blocks that tell you what is open etc is now on the right hand side how do I get it back at the bottom?

It's OK - it is supposed to be movable....

Click the mouse button and hold it down on any part of the strip (between START and the time) that doesn't do anything - then drag it back down to the bottom.

It won't move in real time, but you'll probably see a ghost image of where it will end up ;)

well the upgrade route is valid but i though making sure the standard stuff is covered first
my next step is to see how much free space you have on your harddrive for system operation
but since youve said its slowed down id rather see if it can be identifyed why its slowed down

most times ive seen it b4 its either a full harddrive or unwanted software hogging the computer
id check them b4 suggesting upgrading ;-)

ok, this is another computery one people. My laptop currently says '67% available (plugged in, NOT charging)'. I there anything I can do about this? It's a new bit of wire, so I'm hoping that's not the problem, and I've tried unplugging everything and replugging it etc.

Any ideas?

My laptop won't connnect to our wireless internet. When I click repair it tells me it can't complete registration with DNS. Any ideas anybody? My husband's laptop is fine so it is something on my laptop only.

Forget it, after trying all sorts of things I remembered to switch it off and restart it. and hey, here I am again :D

I've just tried to buy something on ebay, which I've only done a couple of times before. It's so long since I last did that I had to ask them to send me my user name and password.

It said I had to pay by paypal, and seemed to think I had, but it didn't seem to ask for any money. How does the money get to paypal? Last time I remember having all sorts of problems and eventually sent the seller a cheque because paypal failed to send the money and eventually sent it back to me.

Does anyone know how I get the money to paypal?

I really need the goods in the next couple of weeks so don't want a delay.

I've just realised they have stored details of two of my cards! :o I have removed them, so if I use it again they will have to ask for a card. What a cheek!
