I like the Red Shoes, no knickers phrase. It reminds me of the time one of our Brownie leaders was trying to make a list of all the ridiculous sayings her mother has used; never marry a man in a brown suit, with his eyes too close together etc.

But when she got to that one, all the Brownies were completely gobsmacked! It was very funny!

An early dance partner of mine was 6-foot (Sorry! 5-foot 12-inches) tall without heels. When we did a quickstep we could go corner to corner on the dance floor and people just melted away from our line of dance. Brilliant
