n00bz - n00b 14 needed

#1 Post by Cenwulf » Sun Jan 04, 2009 9:24 pm

Here's something you may have seen somewhere else, and it does resemble it in several ways. You will be pitted against your fellow Puzzlebrainiacs, and there will be plenty of chances to kill each other... or maybe kill yourself.
The first round is for one player, and for each successive round a new player is needed. I'll keep going as long as there are new players.
The first new poster in each case will be the new n00b.

Current players:
n00b 1 Bunnylump
n00b 2 LAT
n00b 3 fernando
n00b 4 kathlyn
n00b 5 Looby
n00b 6 kingsley
n00b 7 Scurra
n00b 8 Laura
n00b 9 MBH
n00b 10 evilkeen
n00b 11 gill216
n00b 12 clvrlad
n00b 13 SparkOut

So here's the first round:
First Past the Post
The first person to post following this post gets 1 point.

So n00b 1 is Bunnylump.

To play Round 2, we need a second player.
First new person to post becomes n00b 2.

To play round 3, we need another new player. Who wants to be n00b 3?

Serpently. n00b 3 is fernando. And I have adjusted LAT's score as I did indeed make an error.

Here's round 3.
Piggy-In-The-Middle
The three n00bz are to play six games of Piggy-In-The-Middle. Simply send me six numbers from 0 (low) to 9 (high).
The winner of each game is the n00b who sends in the middle value for that game. To prevent ties, LAT's values will be increased by 0.6, and fernando's by 0.3 (so if all three send in the same value, fernando wins).

Scoring
Winner of each game gets 1 point, and the n00b with the middle amount of wins gets 3 bonus points (the scores will be adjusted by 0.3 and 0.6 if necessary).
