Re: Losing weight
Well, it looks like the bunny diet has gone out of the window tonight. I went out with my blind friend who likes to go to restaurants where he knows where things are, and where his child biting guide dog is allowed.
So it had to be an Indian.
Don't think curries full of cream and lager is quite the sort of thing which I should be doing at the moment. Hey ho. If I lose weight this week then it'll be a miracle.

Ah - so that's why I'm so unhealtyeirian wrote:(and after all, a small amount of alcohol is better than none for general health anyway)
Re: Losing weight
Bunny, you'll just have to look at it as doing a good deed for a friend. Then you don't have to feel guilty even if it has held back your healthy eating plan slightly!!

Re: Losing weight
Well. I can't claim to anything spectacular, but was very pleased to be able to fit into some jeans (which I bought 4 years ago and have never been able to get into) for the first time last night...
It's just such a slow process this time. But then, as I haven't actually BEEN dieting (as such) then it can't be bad.

Re: Losing weight
You see, if you're dancing in a lot of purple fur, then you sweat off the weight. You need a fur coat, Chazzie...
I hasten to add that I could still probably stand to lose the weight of an entire Fraggle, for example...

Re: Losing weight
Don't you try knocking a 'good' story - well done with the slow, steady progress.
[although that means less of you for me to cuddle - but I suppose it's OK because I'm getting bigger]

Re: Losing weight
Oh I'm under no illusions that this will STAY off.
Got my half stone certificate tonight but I know it'd take me about a week to put that all back on.
20 years ago I could have lost half a stone in 4 days by doing a little more exercise. Not so now.
You can do it Biscuit!

Re: Losing weight
keep going - i certainly felt better when i lost some weight.
I have put on 5 lbs whilst on holiday - but it was 21 days in the end so I guess thats okay.
I ams ure it will come off once i exercise but its getting back to that whilst still jet lagged and putting in longer hours at work to catch up. I was suppose to meet with the bank manager i week and a half ago but i was stuck so everyone is now desparate for the figures.
AAAHH - the pressure - i need a holiday
Also laptop has broken , oh phone broke and my mobile got stolen.
I feel so cut off - can now only get on to my daughter's lappy when she is not revising.

Oh dear! That's a bit of a tale of woe! Still, I'm sure you'll soon be back on par and organised again.

Re: Losing weight
Slimmer of the week this week! got a free keep fat class.
Mind you that might just compensate for the weight I put ON last week...
Weird thing is I've been really BAD this week - went to a party on Sunday with cake and barbecue etc...maybe that's where I have been going wrong, not enough cake...
