...you missed out my suggestion that we you did it "skyclad" (though I see it made it to the captions.)Bunnylump wrote:On our way home, David and I took a detour and visited the Great Rollright Stones (see pics). There were some spell ingredients in the middle of the stone circle, so I did get a bit nervous when David suggested we walked round widershins 7 times...

What? You wouldn't have joined us? (JUST in case Wulfruna's now in a state of panic, in truth I was far too busy having asthmatic problems due to pollen to be thinking about any skyclad widdershins dancing round stones!!! (Almost lost my voice at one point, so David got a nice break...)
LAT texted me part way through the day to ask how we were getting on. I sent her a picture of us sitting in the sun. She sent me one back of her sitting at her desk at work!!!

All I can say is "pots and kettles". That jester's a sly one. He comes across all quiet and meek, and he's every bit as capable of talking the hind legs off a sheep...

What? The plant that looked like it had been dipped in pink paint?

Well all I can say is maybe he couldn't get a word in edgeways with the rest of you?? I had been a little concerned that 2+ hours each way in a car with anyone might be a little awkward and might seem to take forever because of that. Actually, I found the journey went really quickly and I could have quite happily chatted on for a few more hours!!
CRIPES WHAT AM I SAYING? Am I being NICE about Scurra??? Someone pass me some medicine, quickly!!!!!

Re: 2010 Puzzlebrains Meet ideas
LONDON MEET 7TH AUGUST 2010
Like I said, LAT and Scurra have some ideas of what to do and where to go (details to follow later). MBH is looking into the possibility of staying over for a day or so (he has a long journey down from Geordieland). Does anyone know of any reasonably priced places to stay in London? Obviously I never stay there because it's so close, and therefore don't need to...
I haven't personally as yet got any major plans for either the 6th or the 8th either (although LAT has kindly offered me to stay over if I want to ), so if any more of you are around for longer than that (and wouldn't have already had a bellyfull of me / others) then I'm happy to do something on either of those two days as well. A visit to Kew Gardens or something? Or like I said before maybe a picnic and a walk or something. But any suggestions would be welcome. I'm thinking something which doesn't COST too much would probably be popular...
Since my messages all fall off the end of my inbox because I talk too much, please could you put up your hands if you're thinking of coming to this again please? If we have it here it's easier to find!! I'm not planning to do any organisation other than posting where we'll be and what we're doing, so just join us if you can!! EVERYBODY WELCOME.
Oh, and don't forget suggestions for MBH as to where to stay would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: 2010 Puzzlebrains Meet ideas
I'm coming. I may come for part fri/sat/ part of Sunday depending what everyone else is doing.
We have a noughty birthday in Colchester on 8th but to be honest the later I get there the better.
If I do do the entire weekend then I'll also be looking for somewhere to stay. I'm hoping on getting a cheap train fare (mbh- plan it right and £10 single is often up for grabs, cheaper than the petrol and faster than driving.)
