I will be passing through London on the 31st July heading south to Gatwick. My train arrives in Kings cross. I understand that there is a thames link station that would take me to gatwick. Is this true, and would this be better than getting the tube to Victoria.
We normally fly when heading south but this year we found it much cheaper to go by train.

Re: Crossing London
I'm sure there is a train from St Pancras International to Gatwick. St pancras is joined at the hip to Kings cross.

Yes, that's exactly right. You would get a Thameslink train to Brighton from St Pancras International - it takes about 45 minutes to reach Gatwick. And about five minutes to get from King's Cross to St Pancras (and that's assuming you go the longest possible way!
)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Yes, that is a great pity, Tricia. It would have been good to meet you!
