The "normal " level is hard compared to the easy one

edit: Done that level and moved on to huge

I haven't attempted Huge yet - I still can't do Normal consistently (well, not in less than about 10 minutes, anyway!)

The problem with huge is that even though you have 20 lives a level 5 one kills you straight off.

This sounds interesting - I've always enjoyed Minesweeper - I'll get back to it.

Did I ever tell you about the time I taught a class of 11 year olds how to play Minesweeper properly........ {drones off into one of his boring stories}

Yes - Very good :) Had a go off and on while maintaining a UK Online group at the Library.

Managed the 'easy' one without problem, then sorted the Normal one (with a few stop-starts) in the first go :) The 'level' aspect actually gives you more knowledge of the 'safe' places than in the original game.

Well recommended.

Well done! This is fun... a great variation on minesweeper. I've managed the second level now and can't resist going on to huge, even if it wastes even more time

Here we go again.

Dismantle a fan - just using your screwdriver. And some puzzle-solving.

You're very welcome! :D

You wouldn't like to borrow my useless brain too would you, and lend me one that actually works in return? :?

Not a puzzle, or a game, just an amazing page.

http://traintimes.org.uk:81/map/tube/

It's the London Underground map. Except that all the little yellow flags are actual tube trains moving around the network as you watch!
There's a National Rail version too, where you can see trains on the main lines moving around the country.

I'm something of a technogeek and even I'm impressed by this. :)

Amazing find - thanks Scurra....

All you need is access to the right data - and some good mathematical skils - and a nifty bit of mapping ability - and...

OK - I'm very impressed :D A handy bookmark for the frequent traveller.

I refuse to look.

I spent so many useless hours on that minesweeper thing I've just decided to close eyes :D
