I still don't have one! But then I've done most of it already... Having said that I ordered a Panda magazine, and never got that either.(Having no puzzles to do I thought I'd try something else.) Sometimes I think I live in a post free zone.

My postman came twice yesterday! He forgot to give me one item the first time, so came back. :D

You dont "get" a magazine. You download it and print it yourself. Log in and it will be in the issues you have bought section. It would have appeared within seconds of your payment being received.

I'm just trying to make sure a couple might be doable without internet access. I've done a bit of looking up for one. Trying not to attempt the easy bits. (Don't let the jester know an easy bit might have slipped through!)

Oh Lord. How did I manage to not know that? I obviously didn't read it properly. Why am I trying to do PUZZLES when I can't even read instructions?

I now have my copy too. I'm off to take my Mum's over to her to torture her a bit. If that doesn't finish her off, nothing will...

It looks lovely, by the way, Scurra. Well done.

I'm trying to ignore my copy. It's sitting there looking at me, and I'm itching to get started, but I've got Gill and LAT trying to teach me how to do a meta puzzle with the Snark mag, then I want to have a go on my own with the Shakespeare mag, then there's SUMS next week. And the camping trip induced severe sleep deprivation, so I'm a bit of a dithering mess anyway at the moment.

Mine's tucked behind a picture on the mantelpiece. I haven't even opened the envelope yet.

I haven't finished the previous issue.
If I open it, I'll get distracted and then the 'Shakespeare' Meta will not get done.

Before anyone panics, I don't have the next magazine. I was wondering when it was due to come out? I've totally lost track of where we're up to with the two-and-a-bit months between issues. When did the last one arrive?

I don't have a definitive answer for you, Laura, but since I know that Gill and David are meeting up today, it's unlikely they'll answer this quickly. I would hazard a guess that it's NOT IMMINENT, since I know for a fact that David only did a first print draft of the (one) puzzle I wrote 2 days ago. Having said that, when he gets on a "mission" he can work unbelievably quickly, so I might be wrong. From the wee bits I've seen it does look good though. :D Hang in there!!

Very end of July I think. I took it on holiday on 31st July. There is usually an advert on the front page for the new issue just before it comes out.

So, if that's right, I'd reckon a few weeks at the very least. But I am just guessing (I have no "official" or inside knowledge!!)
