Had a fantastic day - sun was shining and we went into glasgow for some retail therapy, followed by lunch in an Italian Restruant and topped of with a matinee performace of Simon Callow's one man show on the story of shakespeare. He told the story of Shakespeare and the seven ages of Man using numerous shakespeare characters. He went seamlessly from narator to character and his skill in the performance was Awesome. I think I now want to see more Shakespeare performances , I will try to get tickets for KIng lear with Derek Jacobi later in the year.
All in all a very nice day.

tricia

PS Bunny I was thinking of you because you have said you can never get too much shakespeare. And finally spookily he died on his birthday aged 52!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curiosity killed the cat But satisfaction revived it!!

That sounds brilliant Tricia! :D I think Simon Callow is really talented. I would have enjoyed that too.

........searching for a life.
I think I need one, quite badly in fact.
Has anyone got any suggestions or an idea where I might find one?

Today I am very relieved that that Chloe girl (yuk!) has been booted off X-Factor. Not a good advertisement for my home-town. :?

I have one recently acquired! Read my "on me holidays post". Come stay with me any weekend you fancy just so long as you can cope with being being battered to death with wind and rain and flying furniture. Sorry boys, this is girlies only invitations!! I can accomodate 3 guests at a time with their own sleeping space. 4 if 2 want to share a room in single beds. 6 if anyone wants to bunk up together and more if you have sleeping bags and dont mind an inflatable on the floor!

 That's not what I've heard. Scurra keeps a ready stock of TCP and full body armour.

...not that this has anything to do with Gill's violent tendencies, you understand, that's just one of his many foibles...

Don't you just love it when you know someone goes out on a Monday?

OK. I think I need to tie my hands up. I can feel myself getting myself into trouble here. I need a project to keep me occupied. Any suggestions?
