One job that has NOT happened this year is Christmas Cards

[My thanks to those organized ladies who have popped things through my postbox - much appreciated]
So let me steal this to wish all of my online and real-world friends a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Healthy New Year.
I've enjoyed this year with PuzzleBrains and I'm always amazed that each issue gets better than the previous. Great work from those involved [including those behind the scenes].
I have no idea how my time is going to be used over the holiday period - but this is my last official day at work until January 5th next year. I HOPE I have some time to play with the days of advent that have been printed out and stuck in a folder
All the best to you and yours - Chris

Are you suggesting that the last year comprised "undoable" puzzles?!

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Merry xmas to one and all!
I'm going to hijack this thread too. I want to say big thanks to ALL of you for the support you've all given us in the past 2 years. In some ways, Scurra and I are just co-ordinators. We couldn't do this without our subscribers, we couldn't do this without our extra puzzle writers and we couldn't do this without our testsolvers. And we couldn't do this without YOU- even if all you do is be here for us.
Thank you- have a great 2011.
Gill

And a Merry Christmas and very best wishes for 2011 to everyone.
Thanks to Scurra and Gill (plus Bunnylump and other setters) for doing their best to keep me insane over tha last year.

And thanks to all my online friends for helping to reverse the damage. Life would not be the same without you all.

Merry new year and happy Christmas from the bunny family too. Thank you so much to Scurra and Gill, who have put up with my numerous tantrums and to all of you who have kept me laughing, and have been so kind and supportive to me when I'm not.

Happy Christmas to one and all
Another year making even more new friends and getting even more grey hairs from those puzzles.
Thanks to Scurra, Gill and all the puzzle setters I wouldn't be as sane without you all.
Oh and if someone can remind me what I have done with my crossword solver I would be grateful, ripped the house apart and can't find it! (did I say I was sane

Wishing everyone a great Christmas - whatever the weather does to try and disrupt us

. I really appreciate being part of this wonderful community and would join Gill and David in thanking you all for your ongoing support, now that I am also helping out on the management side (in terms of practicalities, puzzle testing etc).
Can I also take this opportunity to pay tribute to my amazing son, who has taught me so much over the past year....... (and no - I don't get any privileges on the hints front, however much I butter him up..... mind you, the mince pies are still under lock and key at the moment

)

Best wishes to all here for the festive season.
I hope Santa brings you a very special present this year - inspiration to work out the answer to that puzzle you just CAN'T get

Dear Mr Optimist, Mr Pessimist and Mr Realist, While you were arguing about the glass of water, I drank it! Yours sincerely, Mr Opportunist.

I should be around all through Christmas, but I'll say Happy Christmas now to those of you who are likely to disappear for a few days. And Biscuit, as far as help goes, I'll give you any help I can, but I still have a long way to go myself!!

I'm around most of the time as well, but can't guarantee I can help as I am stuck in several places too.
