Thank you for all the good wishes. I'd decided not to have a birthday this year and almost succeeded. Took off to the caravan last Monday and didn't tell anyone other than everyone on here  Then my friend here spoiled my non birthday. That was revenge for my spoiling her non birthday a few days ago  We've decided we will only have a birthday every 3 years to keep the years at bay.

It hasn't really been a good day. My sons girlfriends best friend died this morning- aged 23, and one of our friends has been taken into hospital and isn't expected to come out again.

On the brighter side the skies cleared today so I have been watching the supermoon. Quite spectacular.

Tomorrow I'm going home and will have a real non birthday and open all the cards I'm told are waiting for me :D

Gill, just so you know, Facebook told me this morning that it was your birthday too. So if you do want to keep it quiet you might want to do something with that!!

Oh dear Gill, that sounds as though today has been a bit memorable for the wrong reasons. How sad!

And I've now worked out what I've been doing wrong, I think I must have been having three birthdays every year instead of the other way round, I can't think how else I've become as old as I am.

Oh come on. Even the Queen only has 2 (which is definitely why she is as old as she is) so claiming three is a bit much.

Just in time to say hoppy birdie two ewes on the right day. Hoppier wishes than it apparently turned out, anyway. Hope opening your cards will brighten things up again for you.

Sorry about your news Gill, but hoped you managed to have a nice day and yes that moon was wonderful.

You may have a birthday greeting when yo return home.
