He really is, isn't he? I'd second the strangulation.

True Sparkout - very true
Re: I suggest we strangle Scurra!
Well I thought it was quite funny, once I had been told it was safe to look.

Well that was actually meant to be directed at Bunny, cos she has a fairly recurrent tendency to threaten violence at the stick jester. But that doesn't stop everyone joining in!SparkOut wrote:As if you need an excuse![]()
I thought the prank was great, once I twigged that I had fallen for it and stopped panicking.

Oh, trust me, he gets revenge. Only more subtly...he DOES deserve retribution. Honest.

Did I miss something? I haven't been on the 'puter since Thursday.

No, there's nothing to see here. Please move along. There's nothing to see here.Cenwulf wrote:Did I miss something? I haven't been on the 'puter since Thursday.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Oh. A puerile ruse, imitation list flummoxing outraged on-line lookers.
But it seems that this particular April Fool prank was dependent on people, having received their passwords, logging on before noon: just imagine if nobody had bothered - all that hard work for nothing!
I notice that two are 'siolved'. Surely that speeling errer would be a bit of a clue?
It also means that it can't be repeated, as we might expect something similar next year - and defer logging on until afternoon.
I haven't been into the 'Europe' section yet, as I haven't had much of a gander at the puzzles; no wonder I missed it.

Well actually I was fairly confident that I'd get at least one. And at least one is enough.Cenwulf wrote:But it seems that this particular April Fool prank was dependent on people, having received their passwords, logging on before noon: just imagine if nobody had bothered - all that hard work for nothing!

The spelling mistakes were irrelevant. I looked for less than a second before retreating, lest I see something I shouldn't.

Oh let me join in on next years plan! I loved this aprils fools because normally I don't see them - and this seemed some harmless fun . And for all the grief we give Scurra over the year -why shouldn't he have some fun in return? Agree it can't be repeated - but who cares...
