We can't have that - bus tours for Puzzlers is a bit of a disaster. I remember colin climbing out the window of the bus because we couldnt get the door open. It reduces me to tears when i remember that. Then I was giving MBH directions using my hands and head (when i was sitting behind him)

I dont know how to be not crazy - I guess it just comes naturally!

How unreasonable of MBH to not have eyes in the back of his head! So no tea dance then?

Yes, true - Ivan says 'Yes. You do that to me all the time'

No tea dance - maybe tea and food and some alcohol.

When I took Scurra to the Cotswolds last year, the first thing I said was:

"Right. You're in charge of getting us there, here's a map. Just don't go telling me left and right 'cos I don't do left and right. You have to POINT. And if I tell you to shut up it's just because I'm concentrating on not crashing."

I think at that point he probably wondered what on earth he'd let himself in for...

Awh dear love him. He probably rang samaritans afterwards. Im glad I cant drive because I would cause accidents. A bus is a good thing but the puzzle bus was a disaster - it was a rust bucket!

Sounds like it provided plenty of amusement though! Actually, it's a good idea to have something which can transport everyone about (and even better when you've got a very handy MBH who's good at driving buses AND doesn't drink!!)

Yes, he was absolutely brilliant. Ivan was the sat-nav but MBH was our lifesaver. He even started to get his bearings to and from the airport. It was really funny because he had to follow the road to Newscastle!

You saying about the sat nav reminds me. My friend Janet recorded her own voice on to her husband's sat nav without him knowing. So when he turned it on, it had her saying things like "NO, you idiot. I said LEFT!" Classic.

If I go on this meet I need someone who can stop me getting lost. I have the WORST sense of direction in the whole world. I got lost in a tent once.

Brian was horrified. I think he nearly crashed the car.

I'd like to say that I became fond of that 'rust bucket'.... but to tell the truth :o

Eyes in the back of my head is no problem - but she's only 8 inches high so her pointing was even less effective ;) We did OK though.

I'm up for a tea-dance (my charming sister owes me a number of dances by now), but I suspect I'm on my own with that one.

Usual rules apply from my end - I can never commit to anything but if I can make it I'll be there. It would be good to see you all again.

Bunny - when did you get your hands on a Wizard Tent? Those internal rooms are confusing aren't they? ;)

 Oh, I don't need a wizard tent to get lost in one. And it'd be good to see you too. So here's hoping it all works out. :D

Sounds like MBH has his own Wizard tent. That could come in useful on the meet!! :D

Ah, now there's an idea. However, if I slept on the floor then there'd be no getting back up again. Not now I'm an old lady.

Yeah, don't let on to those muggles about your secret abilities, MBH... HEY here's a thought. Could we have a purple knight bus?

I must be old. Last year one of the kids asked me if I remembered the first world war.

Well if you are old I'm not sure what that makes me. :(
