Hold down the control button and use the scroll button on your mouse to make it smaller or larger. How do I know?. Giraffe told me when I did it

Yeh - I fixed it I clicked on the toolbar and reduced the size to 100% rather than 150%

CTRL with the minus (-) and the equals (=) [which is handy in having the plus sign on as a reference] does the same job. I use it a lot for demonstrating things to people with poor sight and they all want to know "How did you do that????"
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
Right then. Another challenge for you lot with no specialist knowledge required!
I'm writing/cobbling-together-from-a-board-game a murder mystery play for my drama group. The teams have to guess who-done-it, but there's always a side-quiz as well. Last year it was chocolate names hidden in the text, the year before it was lines from songs.
This year we're doing place names. So I'm looking for phrases along the lines of 'being sent to Coventry', or sound-alike names like Bath, Poole, Leeds etc. that can be hidden in the text quite easily.
Answers on a postcard please. Or just stick em on here if you can't be bothered with the postcard.

OK Laura, we'll pool our knowledge and see if we can find any leads in the bathroom. If there are witches involved in the mystery then there may be a local coven tree to discover

If you want some homophones, try words like eaten (Eton), ghoul (Goole), toaster (Towcester) or brighten (Brighton).
Split up Red-car, Black-pool or And-over.
Feed them with Brown Windsor Soup, or give them a cheese Sandwich (whether Cheddar or red Leicester is up to you). Then they can have Dover Sole, Dundee Cake or Kendal Mint Cake.
And don't forget the Loo(e) near the Bath!

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
I could give you loads of those but none of the people would have heard of them
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
That's ok. They might have. There was one last time that no-one got, one of the chocolate ones. One of the characters described another saying, 'he was a vile little man; he was born vile.'
I was desperate for someone to get it, but they never did.

No Brummies in the audience!
As it's a place name you could re use it.
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
No, I'd say we have an audience from about a 3 mile radius! We're not exactly pulling in the long-distance crowds!

Didn't Evilkeen post a towns and villages quiz a while back?

How do you get fingerprints off acetate. I am making a Birthday card with an acetate frame looking into a decoupage cottage
for our friends 90th birthday and there are fingerprints on it

Could try nail varnish remover? Not sure whether it would work or not, or whether it would disolve the acetate?
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
Spectacle cleaning solution/cloth? I'd ask a friendly local optician if they have any ideas.
