Holiday packs
The next issue should be delivered 1st August. Does anyone (Tricia, I know about yours) need a holiday pack?

Re: Holiday packs
What's a holiday pack?
Not that I need one. I could do with a holiday though if you also supply those.

Re: Holiday packs
Yes please! (if a holiday pack is what I think it is!
) I have this feeling I'm going to be spending the first week organising something else...
and then I have a holiday shortly after.

Re: Holiday packs
Sorry, can't supply the holiday. Maybe when we get rich. No, maybe make that profitable as opposed to breaking even
A holiday pack, for those who are going to miss out because they are on holiday when the next issue is due to arrive, consists of drafts of the puzzles (which may contain errata depending on their leave date!) guidance as to which puzzles need little or no research and often a suggestion as to what to print before you go if that won't spoil the puzzle.
A reminder of what you might need (scissors eg.) apart from the obvious pencil, eraser and notebook.
Cheating not allowed. Checking in here for short periods of time is allowed but any usual patterns will be spotted
You are supposed to be on holiday!!!
As time progresses throughout the issue, then a hint pack may be included. That depends upon whether I trust you to get someone else to print it and supply in stages
. Biscuit and Giraffe know exactly how this works. I'm happy to give links to the printy person. Kingsley knows about this bit!

Re: Holiday packs
Kingsley was most put out that I didn't ask her for any of the things she printed, and was quite pleased when I needed something at the airport on the way home.
Re: Holiday packs
Oh yes please! I leave on 3 August and knowing the postman, won't get mine until I'm firmly in my cups in Berlin.
By the time I get back, I'll have had so much of that good warm beverage I love so much that I won't remember there ever was a puzzlebrains.
