...But have you ever been with her in a gym??   (I know you're not really, LAT).

I have to say that being in the gym with sweaty, smelly people is probably preferable to being in a tube train on a boiling hot day (like I was yesterday) hovering underneath several men's armpits... :x

I thought you were tall enough that men hovered in your armpit.

It was the men who were holding on to the rail above their heads. YUK. It was honestly like a sauna down there. What with that and the stress of being there in the first place, how I didn't pass out I really don't know. My legs were like jelly when I got off the train.

And I'm only really tall when I'm wearing high heels... And I feel positively short next to my good friend Lesley, who is 6 foot 2...

I was buying K a pair of shoes today and at the checkout there was a lovely fragrance. I commented what a nice smell it was, thinking it was a perfumed insole they were selling. The cashier went bright red and said that she had "just been upstairs to respray as it's so hot" She obviously thought she was a bit wiffy before.

I had a lovely card today from our newish member wyses99. It was a little cross stitched angel (handmade), but it was fully clothed, with a little message that she though I should put some clothes on, I'm not so sure myself

No, Strep. You REALLY don't want that... MBH, you are BAD.

Yes, you really must be talented, wyses99. Mind, you are in great company. Eirian made me the most beautiful cross stitch card too. And Pebbles makes fantastic cards - honestly, she could sell them!! I can't cross stitch, but I can stitch crossly...

Well done BB!

You're never too old. My mum was 59 and 11/12ths when she finished her degree, and it wasn't an OU one. It was a full time degree and she was twice the age of some of the other mature students. She then taught A level English for a few years.
