You can see the crooked teeth and the petulant jaw.

Well said :D

Hope you all have a great time, and there are no soggy walks into lakes or crisp jigsaws [or even soggy jigsaws] to contend with. I look forward to the stories...........

I've already been out hiding things. Really hoping it doesn't decide to rain. I also hope there aren't too many interested dogs / young children about... Sorry, the crisp jigsaw has been kaiboshed. However, I have just devised another activity which is nearly as silly... Don't worry folks. You will all look completely ridiculous. But at least you don't have to live round here afterwards, like me... :?

LAT's been a busy little bee too...

And really loving the photo BB. I will definitely recognise you now.

Aw. I was looking forward to my pillion ride. Actually, quite seriously, I haven't been on a bike for years. I'd love to have a go sometime. So I think what I'm saying is, could you get it fixed in time for next year?? :D

I have? :?

I have made the chocolate crispy cakes. When I finished them I showed my husband. A minute later my son walked in, home from work. My husband asked how many I'd made, and how many were left. Within about 2 minutes of finishing them I was already one down.

I've made my cake. I haven't made one of this recipe for a while because last time the children all ignored it. Within a few minutes of fishing it out of the oven two of them were saying how much they liked that cake and was it for them to eat this weekend? Fortunately the recipe makes two cakes, but I had earmarked the other one to go in the freezer for when I think my sister is coming in a week or two.

I've made my cake, which I've made LOADS of times before, and guess what? It's gone wrong. Still, I'll bring it anyway so you can witness my handiwork. I just hope the blue fingers I now have are worth it...

MAP TRAIL FOR NON-ATTENDEES INVOLVING SOME OF THE PLACES WE ARE VISITING .

ANYONE WHO IS COMING TOMORROW MUST NOT OPEN THIS - IT WILL SPOIL SOME OF THE LOCATIONS!!

Unfortunately, the maximum file size limit on the forum will not allow me to attach the map. I would be very happy to e mail anybody who would like a copy of my amateurishly stitched together map if you pm me with your e mail address (probably on Sunday). However, you can use OS Getamap (limits are on the puzzle). I realise this may make it quite difficult to draw the lines on, so there is an alternative method for reaching the intended answer too. :D
