I just cancelled my original order and re-ordered it to get the better price - and yes - I ordered the puzzle challenge too.

I just placed my order for both the Treasure Hunt and Puzzle Challenge.
I wonder how much I'll get to look inside!

I've just scanned and uploaded the first page, 'Facing the Gallows', to Google Docs. It's not amazing quality, but it's good enough to print out and scribble over rather than the book itself!

Having had a quick look, the pictures round the edge might spell out a clue, with the google earth symbol being a space between words? Whether it's the initials of the images or something else. Apart from that, I've found a drowned church and that's about it! Do we think the numbers after the locations are heights above ground?

Can we have a "safe for non PB puzzle hunters" Google docs link? 8-)

Obviously only click on the link if you have already purchased the book, as we don't want to infringe any copyright laws...

After a lot of faffing around, I've managed to find Drowned Church too. For someone who has a fear of holograms, I found the whole 'moving world' quite strange, I'm going to have to cover my eyes every time I ask it to go somewhere.
I'm not sure how to use the numbers at the end of the co-ordinates though - can anyone explain what to do?

Well I've got pretty much all the locations, apart from 1 and 3 where there appears to be nothing there. Most of them appear to be geoglyphs of some sort.

The two codes in the bottom left don't have a black dot in between them. I was wondering if they are connected in some way, or if it's a mistake?

the numbers after I thought might have been height locations, but some of the things are up a hill, and have a low number, so can't be that.

OK, in order to stop this spiralling out of hand, and because it's clear that there will probably actually be discussions about it, I have created a special forum for this book and related puzzles, even though I imagine that discussions will also happen on Google Docs.

PM me if you want to be added to the forum.

Well I eventually decided to order the books so I can see what you are all talking about ('cos I'm nosey) but I am never any good at picture puzzles. Hopefully I will get them by the end of this week and catch up on all that's been discussed then.

I see from last Saturdays Telegraph that they have a winner. A final answer was given by 1,200 people and of those only 77 had it correct. It was won by a man from Germany.
The answer was The stained-glass window showing St John of Patmos in the church of St Giovanni in Monte, in the San Stefano area of Bologna.
