Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
All good tips. I'll give them a go, thank you very much. I'm feeling a bit naked at the moment because I've had to stop wearing makeup.
I was a bit concerned it could have been something to do with some of the chemical neutralising reactions we've been doing in the sink at Mum's house. Most recent wonderful find was about 2 litres of chloroform.

That might well not have helped.
You haven't been using eye drops have you? I used to use them every day for allergies until I developed a permanently watering eye. Eventually an eye specialist diagnosed an allergy to the preservative in the eye drops so I have had to stop using them. Now I just have to grin and bear it when my eyes get itchy. (like now - I think the seasons are all a bit muddled this year)

K became allergic to her contact lens solution, and it started to make the surface of her eyes get ridges on them.
This is one of the reasons why I'm reluctant to get the contact lens the optician is threatening me with.

I'm allergic to the preservatives in eye drops too. I can still use eye drops but they have to be 'Minims' single use ones which are the ones they use in opticians and hospitals. They come with various drugs in them and also artificial tears so it could be useful to ask your doc to prescribe these.LAT wrote:That might well not have helped.

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
I'm trying to print some pictures that are on my laptop, and I can't work out how to do it. I was hoping to put four to a page of A4, I know I've done it umpteen times before, but I haven't got time to mess about and it won't work.
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
I've found a thing that seems to let me print 4 to a page, but I want one from one folder and one from another, how do I get them on the same page?

I think it depends what photo thingy you are using. Mine just has an option with a picture of four rectangles on a page and you click on it (from what I remember) and then it asks you where you want them from. But it's ages since I did it so I can't remember exactly.

I've got the four rectangles. Now trying to work out how to put all the ones I want to print in a seperate folder and I've got to do it before k leaves for Germany at 1am and I have 53 other things to do.

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
I've done it! (by accident) I clicked on something and suddenly all the pictures were on the screen, so I could highlight the ones i wanted. I can usually do these things in the end, but I was trying to rush.
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
well done. Now for the other 53 things.
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
I've done some of them and I'm not sure I can be bothered to do the rest tonight. I'll just have to go at double speed tomorrow. I think I've done all that need doing before she goes.

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
You've already done it, but copy/paste into a temporary folder for printing and then deleting the folder afterwards would be my sure-fire way to do this quickly.giraffe wrote:Now trying to work out how to put all the ones I want to print in a seperate folder and I've got to do it before k leaves for Germany at 1am
Good luck to K on her trip - but what a departure time
Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
Well that is the amended departure time, originally it was 3am! I wasn't sure if I should stay up late, or get up early.
I couldn't see how to make a temporary folder, but I didn't need to. I'm sure I don't use the best methods, but I can usually get there in the end, but I was trying to cook the dinner, look for a suitcase, clean the bathroom and had to pop out in the middle of that to buy some hair conditioner that she asked me for and I had forgotton. I'll finish the bathroom in the morning.

they normally give you a card/sticker to ill out as you decide on it
you might have placed it with contract/guarantees ect... or have it stuck to router itself
have a look around i that ails i might be able to help more if you can tell me the make and model of the router
