I need to put my next 3 months availability for the rota by this weekend!

edit: and when I say next 3 months I mean March to May

I could come on the 20th April. Sorry for getting into this rather late in the day.

Having emerged from the mayhem and chaos that has been my life for the last few months :D unfortunately I can't do 20th April (believe it or not, I'm doing costumes for the next play and that is the big technical weekend), nor can I do anything in May, having just booked a holiday in celebration of of 10th wedding anniversary in the hotel where we spent our honeymoon, plus the 50th birthday celebrations for the drama group.

June is no good either as we're off on holiday again for a week (look, we haven't had a holiday for two years!) and have other stuff going on.

I hope you have a great time, wherever and whenever you end up :D

I think I already said I couldn't do 20th April - which might well affect other members of our family as well(!) We are then away for a couple of weeks in mid-May, although after that is fine. But I think Gill was saying that April would be better for (off season!)caravan availability.

I think Gill is having some kind of connectivity problems. I just got a quick message which said she keeps getting timed out. Hopefully she'll get something sorted out soon and will be able to confirm either way.

Really sorry I've been awol everyone.
I wont bore you with the details.
In short I've been really busy and then for the last couple of days I've been timing out before being able to post. My problem-not PB's site.

I'm going for 20th April as that seems to fit the majority who have shown definite or tentative interest for that date. Train tickets are now on sale but please dont book them until we have a definite show of hands. Hopefully that will happen within a day or so and I will confirm that we plan to go ahead. I think we have 8 definites for that date plus others interested but can't commit just yet.

For those who can't commit just yet that is not a problem. I can cope with extra's nearer the time.

If this weekend proves successful then perhaps we could repeat it later in the year, maybe September/October for those who cant do April but dont hold me to that. I haven't discussed this with my boss yet :D

...Oh, and at risk of sounding like a pain, I'd prefer non smoking if at all possible. But if it isn't I'll just get on with it.

My satnav works - it just needs a proper address and not just a post code!

Ill give you the address of the house opposite the site entrance when we get to final details :D

Its really easy (says her who knows where she is going!) its a straight road all the way once you get to the M62. Thats whether you cross the Humber bridge or not. M62 (which continues onto the A63 without you even noticing the difference) A63 then 1033 until you see the sea and turn left when you cant go down it anymore. Every roundabout, traffic lights etc is straight ahead. I can give you landmarks nearer the time so you know you are OK.

 As I recall, it didn't think Eynsham existed... But it all adds to the fun when you have to do a bit of manic map reading and detours...the guided tour of Kent was very interesting, I thought...

20th April confirmed- so go book travel plans. Friday 20th being day 1, Sunday 22nd as the last day – or anywhere in between- and I can do Monday 23rd for anyone who wants to make a long weekend of it.

The plan is a puzzle weekend based upon the hunts we do throughout the year and workshops designed around all the things we would like to know how to do.

We seem to have 8 definites. ME, DAVID, BUNNY,LOOBY,LAT,SUPERSLEUTH, CLVRLAD & MBH*.

* I'm guessing MBH will pay us at least a day visit and I know he's interested in doing the excel/paintshop workshop. I know he's busy right now but I have it on good authority that he does intend to come.

I also have Chazzie as an almost definite and Giraffe as a last minute depending upon her personal circumstances at the time.

We also have others who maybe can/maybe cant and that is no problem. For those who have expressed interest but can't commit would you just let me know if you are still a maybe or definitely can't. The definitely "CAN'T" is more important than the "last minute yes I'm coming" to me right now.

The cost for accomodation will be less than £20 per person for the weekend. We have at least 2 cars- probably 3 or 4 between us. Pick up from Hull railway or bus station can be sorted.

Bring your own alcohol or soft drinks or I will take you to the local supermarket to get supplies once you get here. I plan on making simple food for the entire weekend- casseroles stew, soup, sandwiches and breakfast etc the cost of ingredients to be shared amongst us. Or you can bring or buy your own. Looby no fish, MBH don’t say a word - I already know! Anyone else with any particular no-no’s?
