Hi suec :) Another blast from the past. Little by little we're all arriving 'over here'.

How much of the magazines have you seen so far? You're just in time for issue 3.

I'm thinking I might leave the country before then, personally.

Just thought I'd welcome Sigur Ros to the forums. Will need to be careful what I say now, as he's actually my OH.... Yep, another of the family joins the club!
Bet he feels as if he knows you all already!

Hi There - Nice to meet you :)

You're the guy who gives Giraffe a run for her money in the height stakes - if my memory serves me right. (No - we haven't met, but your OH talks about you) ;)

Hope your Puzzle Brain is fit and ready.

I would hope that I make Giraffe look small (not giving away my height, but I have to duck under doors).

It is the band I am named after :) . Linky for those wondering who they are...

Welcome Sigus Ros. It's becoming a good place for families here :)

I was wondering who you were as I had to buy a Sigur Ros CD for my daughter for Christmas.

Just catching up MBH, have started with issue 3, which needless to say is driving me mad. Its nice to see so many familiar names, and hope you are all OK. I was off 'Air' so to speak for some time but its good to get back, not just for the puzzles but for the banter.BTW hows the north east?
Can anyone tell me how to do an avatar? I AM NOT computer literate.

Top of the screen (the strip with logout) has User Control panel click that.
At the side of the control panel there is a box with options and one is profile
click that and it gives 3 options, one of which is edit avatar

PS sent you a pm

Hi Sue - my long necked friend is spot on with her advice. Once there, you 'browse' to find an appropriate picture, and that becomes your avatar.

Before you do the forum end, make sure you have the picture you want on your computer, and that it is the right size. If you have something but need to resize it then give a shout - we'll either talk you through it or do it for you :)

North East rolls along as usual - coping with life. Lots of worry about credit crunch, loss of jobs (Nissan, etc), Bank (Northern Rock), etc - but as they say "It's no use complaining (nobody listnes anyway  )"

Lovely sunny day in the wilds of Hetton-le-Hole :)

Not true! We have a very active whinge thread, where people do listen, offer support and much useful (and useless) advice!
