OK stupid question. I'm thinking of bringing my laptop, but it just hit me - is our stuff insured in these caravans if it got nicked?
I've just been and purchased a new waterproof that I can fit a fleece under. So it is now guaranteed to be both warm and dry.

I would have thought it might be covered under your household insurance, or even travel insurance if you have it.

The truthful answer is I don't really know- but I do know that if I was to let out my caravan my insurance would increase- so I think cover must increase for holiday makers.
However, I nearly got extra keys cut for my today but decided I'd be happy for anyone to just close the door and leave it unlocked. I slept in it for 3 days with the key on the outside of the door
All of that said I'm well insured. Anyone with doubts can put valuables into mine and I'll make sure the door gets locked!

Now why doesn't that fill me with confidence?

I'm just hoping that I don't come down with something hideous and infect you all. I am aching all over and want to go to bed all the time.

I might have to EITHER lock myself in my room and be grumpy OR (preferred option) drink myself into a stupor.

Right then, boys and girls, having still failed to either pack or even think about what I should be packing, I'm going to go and have a bath and go to bed instead. So in all likelyhood I'll be asking for loans of all the things I've forgotten like socks or money. But I just know you'll all come up trumps.
See you all tomorrow.

I haven't started either and need to go to the supermarket so that the family have food here! Fortunately I don't need to leave too early.

Socks & money I can help with having totally embarrassed myself earlier today. I needed to post things to Wulfruna, total cost £1.09. Forgot I'd paid the window cleaner this morning for 2 visits and I'd cleaned out my purse.

Good job there is a hole in the wall outside!!

I've got two pairs of socks out. I'll lend you one if you like. But I don't have much else yet so we might get a bit cold in just socks!

Several no charge cash points on the main street plus cash backs in Aldi & Tesco Supersleuth. NOT the site cashpoint because they charge.
All anyone needs to do is ask if they need to go anywhere in Withernsea for anything at all. Nowhere is more than a couple of minutes drive away.

Its dry so far and there is plenty of blue sky. The sun is trying to appear and the clouds are mainly white although there are a few tinged with grey.
See you all later

Thanks! I'm now awaiting my coach and being slightly concerned that I might not be able to fit my stuff in it...

But as long as LAT's only taking two pairs of socks and a swimsuit then it should be fine.
And Eirian...hope to meet you one day!!
