Finally managed to get home after the train crawled practically all the way back.

I will try and post puzzle links etc in the next day or so.

Thanks to everyone for a great weekend.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Well you're going to look pretty silly when I delete the second copy.

Back home, supper cooked and eaten, case unpacked, washing on and now I'm trying to stay awake long enough to drink a cup of tea.

Thanks to everyone for the friendship and fun over the weekend. Big thanks to Looby for getting me there and back safely, assisted by Giraffe on the return journey. And massive thanks to Gill for everything. Those of you who weren't there could not begin to imagine the attention to detail that she put into the planning - everything from wonderful food to keep us stuffing our faces at all hours whenever we felt the need, to tea towels and loo paper for each of the hired caravans. Not sure if you really expected us to need 4 loo rolls for 4 people for just 2 nights? The food was great, especially those wonderful scones, you deserve a month off all kitchen duties to recuperate. And thanks also for the companionship on the earlyish morning swim on Saturday. Much nicer than going on my own :D

And I'm finally home, too. Yes, everything everybody's said. It was great fun - and Gill's organisation was amazing. Here's to the next one. :D

I have a couple more of socks, so if I find the lead to connect my old phone to the laptop I will try to post them up!

Think I must have missed the wardrobe malfunction. :?

Do you think this should be renamed "foot fetishist's paradise"?? (Just you wait until you see what Scurra had on his feet!!)

The fish and chips, Gill's scones and jam, the lovely cooked breakfasts, and all the bread didn't scupper my diet. I weighed in this morning and had lost half a pound. :D

Brilliant - you see, brain exercise is STILL exercise ;)

EDIT: For those that are interested, I'm trying to put more information into the 'Paint' and 'Excel' instructionals in the Puzzler Tools forum. Feedback would be interesting either here or PM as to usefullness, readability, etc. You never know when you're writing things for others if they've nodded off half way through

I went through the first bit of the Excel thing again last night and thought it was really good. It made me laugh the way your word string worked. However after an EXTREMELY long and tiring day at work I was unable to concentrate enough to look at the bottom bit (bringing it all together) as well. I'm going to apply my brain to that tomorrow when I have some peace and quiet. But what I read (and the paint bit too, which made SO much more sense having had the personal tutorial) was both clear and well written. You are a star. :D

And well done, Giraffe. I EXPECT I managed to put on weight (I never eat fish and chips or cooked breakfasts or things like crisps or chocolate under normal circumstances, as my exploding bile duct experience will testify  ). However, I don't KNOW that I put on weight because I don't have any scales.
