Im the talk of the local shops today. I went round and bought some things, came back and had a conversation with my mum at the front door - about an hour later I discovered I had brought home my shopping AND someone else's. The woman apparently said in the shop 'oh no, some dirty b*****d has stole my shopping  Everyone thinks it's hilarious. The fella in the shop started shouting 'mind your bags - Judith's in the shop!' Totally mortified

    You are a truly evil woman!!

Think yourself lucky. When David was a baby, I was so distracted that I wheeled out the wrong PRAM from a shop. It had a girl in it. I only discovered what I'd done when a demented woman started screaming at me and attacking me in the street!!!!! Shame really. I would have a lot more food left in the fridge if I had two girls.

 Good one Bunny - I left Leah in the pram outside a shop years ago. I only discovered about half an hour later. I ran the whole way back and she was still sound asleep when I got there

... trying out a french bread loaf in my bread maker and if it doesn't stop rising and
start cooking soon then I'm deep in the doo dah. :?

I've also done 5 loads of washing today and my tumbler has gone into protest mode. It is making the most horrendous noises. Do I put the heating on and roast myself alive just to get some of it dried? Chancing outside on the line isn't much of an option at the moment is it?

5 loads?  That's about 2 weeks' worth for me.

My washing is outside, it's dry and windy here at the moment so I'm hopeful it will all be dry in about half an hour before we get any more rain.

Put the heating on - that's what I've done. 3 washes yesterday - and 2 more to go today

Its about 2 weeks worth for me too. I only did because it was becoming essential. Lesson to be learned in that. If I'd done a little and often it would have dried on an airer. As it is I'm inundated with wet washing instead!

5 loads is about four days' worth for me... I have a husband who wears one set of clothes plus an overall during the day and then another set in the evening. I have a son who plays sport and each time presents me with his kit plus a huge towel to wash. I'm one of those people who can't get away with wearing things more than once (my Dad always says that "horses sweat, men perspire, and women are all of a fluster". Well, I must be a horse then. We have two sets of double bedding each week...nightmare. I did get some dried today though - amazing!!

Yes that's me too. We go through a big lot of clothes and bedding. I love changing the sheets. There's nothing like snuggling in under freshly laundered bedclothes

Well I plan to practise in our school assembly hall until I get my skate legs back again. Then I'll try it outside. Ivan is affronted

No, he'd probably kill himself. I ordered a junior pair for my small feet. They are lovely - black with rainbows. Ivan says he'll go out on his bike and I'll follow on my rollerboots. It really tones the legs and bum. It should be a good laugh.

Yeah, should be fun. I haven't been roller skating for years. It was through, but not while, roller skating that I broke my nose so I have a special reason to remember when I used to skate!

I have enough trouble staying upright on my own two feet!! Good luck with that, Fraggle. :D
