Gill, I think the Puzzle Brains you have is an account set up as if it were a person, a bit like Gi Raffe etc. I think RedFraggle is wanting us to become members or fans of a group, which is different. Not sure yet whether the group is up and running though?

No one needs to do anything yet. We are waiting on a puzzle from the jester to comment on. Once I get that puzzle - I will make the Puzzlebrains group. The Puzzlebrains page already on there needs to be changed to link into the Puzzlebrains.com page to subscribe. I can do this once Im given some jpegs of the magazines and the login details of the main Puzzlebrains site - again, the jester has this

So that's all everyone has to do for now!

Gill - I may have to speak with you the old fashioned way (telephone) and it might help explain it better.

Once I get Carmen back across at her own house I will do that. She's refusing to go home

Ok, there will be 2 puzzlebrains sites on FB.

One is the main page which gives details of how to subscribe (no one can comment on this page - it's the main advert).

The other is the 'PB group' - this page allows people to join and comment and members dont have to be friends with each other. this is the page where the puzzle will appear so that people will comment and hopefully this will grab their interest and they can visit the PB main page to subscribe. This is why I had some of you join FB so that you could comment. As we comment it appears on others News feed which can be seen by everyone.

I can control the group page by approving posts and people wanting to join the group (at no time will they be directed to this forum).

This little forum remains completely private until a person subscribes.

Is this still as clear as mud? If so, I can ring you also

OK so what I need is a step by step instruction on how to find it / join it or whatever. All I actually know how to do is to log on. That brings up my page and then various people have added me and I've got an e mail with a link. I'm very happy to join in and ask questions etc to get anything going but you will have to be patient with me until I understand how to actually GET there in the first place!!

Well it's not on there YET and I will find you all and add you onto the 'group page'. So for now we just sit tight and wait. if you want to practise - just post comments onto my main page Judith Acheson. It will work exactly the same. :D

I think LAT, Scurra and Wulfruna are having a meeting on Saturday. They might discuss puzzle / s which would be appropriate...

What suggestions do you all have?

I was wondering about the possibility of posting one (or more) of the next online set on there. Then they can have GENUINE questions and comments!! (Of course the test solvers would know about a few of them...)

This is just me postulating here, Scurra might not be happy with that suggestion, BTW!!

Something that at first glance seems 'do-able' - NOT the ladybirds or the fish one.

Either the clever wordsearch ones or the sudoku type ones. Or the picture ones (do you remember the phoenix alphabet puzzle? - I was stuck on that for days and Ivan looked at it and said straight away - that's the phoenix alphabet! I was going to throttle and hug him at the same time!

Someone has poked me. What does that mean? :?

And how come I have 8 friends? I thought I had to do something to friend people? It also says someone likes my status. What is my status?

It basically means they want to say hello, but have nothing very specific to say. You can do other things to people, for example, I think someone once threw a sheep at me!

A poke is just someone saying hello - in a jokey way. You can have a 'poke war' which is funny.

Your status is like our 'today Ive been...' It's when you state something - like Vlad announcing his news about his new baby daughter!

Me too please!
I know how to log in and I seem to be getting some friendship requests too (including one or two I am quite suprised about from people in the organisation I used to work for, maybe they miss me! )

But how I do anything else is beyond me at the moment although I did seem to manage to have a mini conversation with strep on the day I joined.

yes, it's not that difficult - trust me - I know people who think FB IS the Internet in it's entirety.

Practise on my own page - leave a message on my wall or just comment on something. Just have a practise - no one will say a word to you - it's only me! I may even poke you

What I meant was, why does someone like my status, when I don't think I have a status. I haven't posted anything.
